Linguists head to regional finals

On Wednesday 08th March Burnt Mill students took part in a speaking competition. They performed a Spanish or French dialogue in front of judges and other students from a number of Essex schools, part of which they had to create themselves. 

The 12 students that took part are:

(Year 7) Brandon Diep, Zak Austin. Zak Waterman. Joseph Linnecor
(Year 8) Emma-Lee Bailey, Connor Ralph, Chloe Smith, Jamie Gaunt
(Year 9) Siena Taylor, Liam Hearn , Owen Stringer, Matthew Winder
 
All the students performed exceptionally with Brandon Diep, Joseph Linnecor, Emma-Lee Bailey, Chloe Smith, Liam Hearn, and Owen Stringer all progressiong to the regional finals.
