GCSE Results 2022
Posted: 25th August 2022Young people have been praised for their resilience during the pandemic as they collect their GCSE results.
Year 11 students returned today to collect their exam grades.
It is the first year since before the pandemic that students have sat their exams in the traditional way, with grades allocated by teachers for the last two summers.
Students celebrating top grades today include –
- Millie Tsang, who achieved six grade 9, two grade 8, one grade 7
- Simra Saulat, who achieved five grade 9, three grade 8, one grade 7
- Alfie Dutnall, who achieved three grade 9, four grade 8, two grade 7
- Denisa Ghiauru, who achieved four grade 9, four grade 8, two grade 7
- Deehan Haque, who achieved three grade 9, four grade 8, three grade 7
- Sabrina Man, who achieved four grade 9, give grade 8, one grade 7, one grade 6
- Atikan To, who achieved five grade 9, one grade 8, four grade 7, one grade 6
- Dowgrid Rabenda, who achieved two grade 9, four grade 8, three grade 7
- Max Bien, who achieved one grade 9, six grade 8, one grade 7, one grade 6
- Neo Hamilton, who achieved two grade 9, five grade 8, two grade 7, one grade 6
Head of school Laura McGlashan said: “We are extremely proud of the achievements of our students who have coped admirably with the challenges of preparing for examinations post pandemic.
“The students have achieved some excellent individual results, and their successes are a real testament to their attitude to learning, their resilience and their commitment to achieving their aspirations.
“We would like to thank the teachers and support staff for preparing the students so well for their examinations, and for the continued support of the parents and carers.”
