Students Quiz Harlow MP About Local Issues

Burnt Mill Academy would like to thank our local MP Chris Vince for his visit to the school on Friday 25th October. It was an excellent way to end the half-term, with Citizenship GCSE pupils afforded the chance to ask questions about local issues in Harlow which are important to them. 

A number of important topics were discussed including; current levels of policing in Harlow, relationships between the police and young people in Harlow, causes of crime and the level of investment in the town.

We look forward to meeting again when we visit Parliament in January.
